Reading is Fundamental: 13 Books On My Reading List

"Learning is a journey and not a destination." ― Ian Bullock

I am what you would consider a "lifelong learner". What that basically means is that I am constantly and continuously looking for opportunities to learn new things and improve myself both professionally and personally. In fancy terms, I am what’s considered an autodidact (defined as a "a self-taught person"). Reading is not only the easiest way to expanding my knowledge, but also one of the best, most flexible, and easily accessible tools of lifelong learning. More importantly, reading allows time to yourself, time to indulge in your passions, and sometimes to learn something new.

Below are books that I have read or currently reading to grow my knowledge in the areas of running, cycling, and fitness. This is NOT a list of the best or the most influential books to help guide you in your training endeavors. This is simply a mixture of recommendations for those who are looking for inspiration to get up and out the door in addition to some self-improvement.
